The OASTEM! Vibe Series

The OASTEM! Vibe series is designed to circulate a slew of unreleased recordings from 1987 - Now digitally and free of charge because there are too many CDrs out there. Most are presented in glorious 160kbs MP3 sound and some a bit higher. You can listen all you like. Tell yr friends. Put them on mix tapes and leave them on the bus. For the most part these are all unedited mix downs of multi-tracked sessions. They share one common thread: I play on all of 'em.

The stories are stories about one thing, and actually about other things. We exist as Frequency in sound or light or time. All arbitrary vantage points, but that's the task of a narrative, to define a single motion as it decays. Some of these stories are alternate views of the some original sound.

All of the artwork feature photos I've taken over the years, things I've found or original art ginned up just for the occasion. Feel free to write if you have any thoughts, or need a few hundred words of obtuse liner notes.

If you want to use the Creative Commons license to add any of this music to something else for some reason, CD-quality masters can be provided. Just ask. If you really enjoy them, go buy some CDs that I play on: Fern Knight or Rake. or The Valerie Project
